The H2O Challenge is the simplest of science experiments. When my third grade son first saw this picture, he said, "Oh we did that experiment in class."  

I asked, "what experiment?"

He said, "We put flowers in water and they lived, and we put them in coke and they died. But we didn't give mice soda and water."

Of course I was inspired by the famous Pepsi Challenge.
